Las Vegans gathered at Madame Tussauds Las Vegas for the unveiling of a wax figure that unites one of the world’s most visited attractions with the world’s #1 musical. Rafiki, the iconic baboon shaman from DISNEY’S THE LION KING! The Rafiki costume is made of cotton fabric, decorated with metal amulets, and a horsehair collar. The hat is made of textured kente cloth and the custom shoes are made of rubber.
To celebrate the newest addition to the famed wax figure collection, Madame Tussauds Las Vegas and THE LION KING introduced a joint “Best of Vegas” package, inviting guests to enjoy both the show-stopping musical at Mandalay Bay and the hit attraction in front of the Venetian for a total of $90 per person.
