Title: Linger
Author: Maggie Stiefvater
Published: Scholastic, 2010
Pages: 360
Series: Book 2, Wolves of Mercy Falls
Summary: In Maggie Stiefvater's Shiver, Grace and Sam found each other. Now, in Linger, they must fight to be together. For Grace, this means defying her parents and keeping a very dangerous secret about her own well-being. For Sam, this means grappling with his werewolf past . . . and figuring out a way to survive into the future. Add into the mix a new wolf named Cole, whose own past has the potential to destroy the whole pack. And Isabelle, who already lost her brother to the wolves . . . and is nonetheless drawn to Cole. (Taken from Goodreads)
Review: Werewolves, romance and a lot of coffee drinking. That about sums up my encounter with Linger by Maggie Stiefvater. As far as the story line goes anyway. Almost. There were a few more things within the book but those were the three things that stuck out the most in my mind when reading Linger by Maggie Stiefvater.

That being said, I can also say that I’m not really a fan of werewolves, I read Shiver because it was at my library and then when Linger was at the library I picked it up too. So I wasn’t a huge fan of the storyline itself.
I liked Isabel’s voice. There was just something about it that stood out among any of the characters. I thought that it was good that Maggie mixed things up a bit by introducing the viewpoints of Cole and Isabel. It was nice for a change because while I like Grace, I’m not so keen on Sam.
One thing I absolutely loved about Linger was Maggie Stiefvater’s writing style. She is a truly amazing writer and she just seems magical in the way she writes. I think that’s what makes me want to read this series in the first place. I love her writing so much and I think I’ll be trying my hand at her other series.
Linger had both its good and bad things but I think that Maggie Stiefvater’s writing is amazing and if you have some spare time Linger is worth a read.
