I saw this on Reggie The Undercover Book Lover's Site and it looks really really fun so I'll be filling it out now!
Do you snack while you read? If so, favourite reading snack:
I don't really eat while reading I tend to just sit down reading without eating. I'm too worried I'll get something on one of my books. Because I am forever haunted by a chocolate muffin stain on my copy of Breaking Dawn.
What is your favourite drink while reading?
Coca-cola anytime even when reading *drinks from glass of coke*
Do you tend to mark your books as you read, or does the idea of writing in books horrify you?
I would never write on my books it just seems so wrong.
How do you keep your place while reading a book? Bookmark? Dog-ears? Laying the book flat open?
I tend to use a bookmark, except it's not really a bookmark it's a little card with a paint colour sample on it. I've had it for years.
Fiction, non-fiction, or both?
Fiction, but these days I try to fit a little non-fiction in.
Are you a person who tends to read to the end of a chapter, or can you stop anywhere?
I try to stop at chapters and if I can't then I'll look for a major paragraph ending.
Are you the type of person to throw a book across the room or on the floor if the author irritates you?
No not really, I just knuckle down and read it until I finish.
If you come across an unfamiliar word, do you stop and look it up right away?
No, not really. If I'm interested in what it means I'll look it up later on.
What are you currently reading?
Nightlight by The Harvard Lampoon
Sing Me To Sleep by Angela Morrison
The Graveyard Book by Neil Gaiman
What is the last book you bought?
Strife by Cate Tiernan but it was for my sister because it was her birthday on Thursday.
Are you the type of person that reads one book at a time, or can you read more than one?
Looking back at what I'm reading right now... I can read more than one book.
Do you have a favourite time/place to read?
I like to read in a big comfy chair and if it's cold I like to have a blanket over me.
Do you prefer series books or stand alones?
Ummmm thats a hard question, I like both. I haven't read any stand-alones for a while. I'd like to read more stand-alones.
Is there a specific book or author you find yourself recommending over and over?
Hmmm maybe Tamora Pierce books, Scott Westerfeld books and probably Graceling by Kristin Cashore oh and Howl's Moving Castle by Diana Wynne Jones
How do you organize your books? (by genre, title, author's last name, etc.)
I used to organise my books by author's last name but since I move my books around with me a lot, I have here with me books in order of when I'm going to read them.Source URL: https://free1image.blogspot.com/2010/06/my-reading-habits.html
