Title: Care for Creation
Author: Christy Baldwin
Illustrator: Shelly Draven
Published: Tribute Books, 2010
Pages: 32
First Line: "We are called to care for God's creation."
Summary: Children learn to protect the environment and respect nature through recycling, home energy conservation and neighborhood clean-ups. Through accompanying Bible verses, they are encouraged to be responsible stewards of God's creation.
Review: Care for Creation is a nice little book that uses bible quotes to teach children the ideas about creation. I think that the illustrations were truly amazing too. Some of them were so beautiful that I kept going back to look at them.
I really liked Care for Creation as it was nice and simple and a good way of teaching children about recycling and environmental issues.
It's a short read so if you have the time to read it then you should definitely give it a go. I think children will love the pictures too.
