My Final Days of NaNoWriMo

Day Fifteen: I've reached the halfway point and I'm well over halfway through the 50,000 words.  I tried to do some writing today but my arm was hurting and I felt more like reading than writing.  I did do a little bit of writing though so that was alright. Most of the time I try to write at least 1667 words a day because that's what the Nano Stats tells me to aim for.

    Word Count: 37,060

Day Sixteen: It's just over halfway through, the days are getting hotter and hotter, in other words it was 28 degrees celsius (82 degrees Fahrenheit) and I'm a person comfortable at 15 degrees celsius so it is very hard for me to concentrate when it's super hot.  Also, I'm starting to feel the strain in my wrist from typing so much.  However, I wanted to make it to 40,000 words today. Which I did and I'm really excited about that.

    Word Count: 40,364

Day Seventeen: I had a good day of writing.  I'm getting close to the end so I'm really excited and I want to keep writing so I can finish early but at the same time it's hard to sit at the computer for long periods of time.  That and at the same time I don't want to say goodbye to my characters just yet.  I ended up just writing until my head hurt and my eyes started to get really blurry.  I think I did quite well and I'm at the main event of the book for which everything after will be wrapping up.  I'm excited.

    Word Count: 44,171

Day Eighteen:  I didn't do any writing whatsoever today.  Nope, instead I read all day.  I also thought it would be a good idea to try and rest my arm because it's been really sore these last few days.

    Word Count: 44,171

Day Nineteen: I didn't do any writing again today.  That's alright, I'll force myself to write tomorrow though otherwise I'll never finish it.

    Word Count: 44,171

Day Twenty:  I sat down and forced myself to do some writing today.  When I started I didn't want to stop but I ended up with a headache and I was really tired.  I also have a really good word count for today and tomorrow I'm hoping to aim for 50,000 words.

    Word Count: 47,386

Day Twenty-One:  I made it to 50,000 words and now I just have to finish writing the story. I'm really excited that I managed to even make it to 50,000 words.  Now I just have to finish the story so my characters can have their ending.

    Word Count: 50,234

Day Twenty-Two: I took a break today but I'm planning on finishing the actual story tomorrow.

    Word Count: 50,234

Day Twenty-Three: I completely forgot I was even doing NaNoWriMo.  It just slipped out of my head all day so I did nothing.

    Word Count: 50,234

Day Twenty-Four: I just didn't know what to write to finish my story.  So I didn't write anything today.

    Word Count: 50,234

Day Twenty-Five: Submitted my story, Here Lies Harriet, to the verify and win and won NaNoWriMo.  I'm really excited because for the first time I did it, I succeeded and I'm really excited.  I feel like I want to start writing another book.

    Final Word Count: 51,385

I started out thinking that I would never ever write 50,000 words in a month and as the month progressed I discovered that I'm actually quite good at churning out words that make a story.  It was a lot of fun and I can't wait to do it again next year!
