Review: Suite Scarlett is the first book I have ever read by Maureen Johnson and I really liked it. I liked it so much that I believe I will definitely be reading more books by Maureen Johnson.
Before reading Suite Scarlett I knew it was a book about a girl who lives in a hotel and that she had a cool brother called Spencer. This kind of made me think of the television programme The Suite Life of Zack and Cody. After reading Suite Scarlett I can now say that no, this is not like The Suite Life of Zack and Cody. It's very unique, original and a fun idea.
I really liked Scarlett, Spencer and Lola. They were all pretty cool. I didn't like Marlene, she just didn't appeal to me at all. I was not sure how to think about Mrs Amberson. Sometimes I liked her and thought she was really nice but then other times I thought she was not a very nice person.
I found out that there is a sequel to Suite Scarlett called Scarlett Fever and that comes out next year so when I see that I will definitely be reading it.
