Summary: Micah Wilkins is a liar. But when her boyfriend Zach, dies under brutal circumstances, the shock might be enough to set her straight. Or maybe not. Was Micah dating Zach? Did they kiss? Did she see him the night he died? Where does the truth actually lie?
Review: When I read the summary of Liar I was so excited I thought"yes, a book that will take me twisting and turning through apsychological maze of lies and truth and the reader would have to tryto guess what was the truth and what was lies."
Unfortunately, this wasn't how I felt about Liar at the end of the book. I was kind of disappointed with the book. I mean I know that Micah is a liar but some of the lies I just did not like at all and I thought were a bit extreme. But thats not to say that anyone else is going to hate it. I think I just am not familiar with Justine's work and so it took me by surprise a lot.
Liar started off really well. I liked Micah and everything I read I believed. Then when she started telling truths I was quite interested. Most of the lies were interesting and made me wonder about bits and pieces. I love a good mystery because I love the surprises or the twists in the plot.
Liar was a good story, and I found it to be really interesting. I just happened to be really disappointed by the ending and I'm not really sure why.
I think thats pretty much all I have to say about Liar. It's an interesting read but it just wasn't what I personally, was expecting. Try it out for yourself though, because you might like it. I have read some really good reviews for it so definitely check it out.
