Review: It's been a few years since I've read Green Angel the book before this one and at first I thought I'd have some trouble with Green Witch but it wasn't like that at all. I think that if you haven't read Green Angel then you'd be alright reading Green Witch but for the best effect you'd be better off reading Green Angel first.
As far as Green Witch went, I really enjoyed it. It's written quite differently to the majority of other books I've read but that just makes it all the more interesting.
I loved Green's story and I loved hearing other stories of the other 'witches'. The characters were all really interesting and I just really loved how different Green was to any other book characters.
I really love Alice Hoffman's writing style, which is probably why I've read a lot of her books. She writes things in a really symbolic and expressive and incredibly descriptive way. It's hard to explain, you just have to read it yourself.
I would say that Green Witch is a short, quick read that along with Green Angel makes a really good book. If you haven't already read Green Angel and Green Witch, they're definitely worth a read as they are really different.
