Review: I'm a huge fan of L.J Smith and when I saw this book at the library I thought I should give it a go.  I'm glad I did because it was really good.  For the most part, it was something different because it involved psychics which was different to the usual vampires, werewolves and witches that are so common in supernatural stories.

I liked all of the characters except maybe Rob.  He just seemed to annoy me a little bit.  By the end of this book I was hoping that Kaitlyn and Gabriel would end up together.  There's just something really interesting about Gabriel that made me like him a lot.

The story line itself was unique in some ways and that made it quite a good read.

My interest levels in the book were definitely high.  I devoured this in no time at all.  Basically, as soon as I started it I continued reading it until the end.

If you're a fan of the supernatural or L.J Smith then The Strange Power will be a good book for you. I look forward to reading the next book in the series.
