Summary: May contain spoilers! Meghan Chase used to be an ordinary girl...until she discovered that she is really a faery princess. After escaping from the clutches of the deadly Iron fey, Meghan must follow through on her promise to return to the equally dangerous Winter Court with her forbidden love, Prince Ash. But first, Meghan has one request: that they visit Puck--Meghan's best friend and servant of her father, King Oberon--who was gravely injured defending Meghan from the Iron Fey.

Yet Meghan and Ash's detour does not go unnoticed. They have caught the attention of an ancient, powerful hunter--a foe that even Ash may not be able to defeat....

Review: This will only be a quick review as Winter's Passage is a little novella by Julie Kagawa that takes place between book one and two of the Iron Fey series.  I loved the first book and I really enjoyed Winter's Passage too.

My favourite characters were present.  Ash and Grimalkin to be exact.  I really really love Ash, he is just the coolest character - no pun intended.

It was good to enter the realm of the Iron Fey once again for a brief time with Winter's Passage.  The story was really interesting and I had a lot of fun reading it. If you're a fan of the series, if you've read the first or both the first and second books in the Iron Fey series then you'll have no trouble reading Winter's Passage and understanding it.
