Lykke Li is a Swedish singer/songwriter who took the indie world by storm in 2008 with her adorable lyrics, edgy sound, sultry smokey-eyes, and boho-vintage-everything-but-the-kitchen-sink style. Lykke's song style could be described as mixing a sweet soft voice with pop and electro beats; its very unique and the majority of her songs turn out quite catchy and haunting! Her first album, Youth Novels, was sensational and if you haven't heard it by now....well, for shame! Seriously. Check out the song Little Bit. You will be addicted for the next 8 months to only this song. That maaay be what happened to me. She even wrote a song for the Twilight Sega ( I knoooow, who hasn't) but its really good, its called, Possibility. The good thing about 2011, is that Lykke Li will be releasing her second album, Wounded Rhymes...and the Get Some EP released in 2010 was super fantastic. Can't wait for Wounded Rhymes to arrive!
Being that her music is so unique and refreshing, it turns out so is her fashion sense! Lykke Li tends to dress all over the map; however, she wears a lot of black, boho and vintage pieces, many large necklaces/ lots of jewelry, and the girl can rock a smokey-eye like nobody else!
