Wow! I can't believe I've made it through the first week of the 30 for 30 posting everyday :) I'm so glad. Maybe this challenge won't be so hard after all. Now I just have to make sure I will stay away from the mall ;) But I have to go there today! LOL only for lipgloss from Sephora tho. Running out of Smith's Rosebud Salve, my fav.

Another workday! I'm glad I'm currently working in a workplace that allows me to wear pretty much anything (as long as its decent - and  I can wear a lab coat if I have to) so I'm having a lot of fun (and freedom) with this remix. Today I'm wearing my fav J. Crew tee. It's odd - this brown-orange color goes with everything! But I'm especially liking it with these white pants. Love this outfit!

So guess what! I'm totally adoring my fedora today :) Its kinda hot here....well its going up to 30ish this afternoon, so I was thinking sun protection is the way to go. Pants may be a bad choice. Does anyone else love fedoras? In general I love hats, but I'm particularly loving this fedora - goes with so many outfits and protects me from sunburn. Double points!

Shoe Splurge Saturday

I'm not so sure how I feel about these...I have found a few cute ones that I'm adoring ( well those ones by Chloé) but has anyone tried them? Are they comfortable to walk in? Had a lot of fun with outfits this past week! And unfortunately after doing some damage at the Mall with my friends Beth and Jenny (holllaaaaa) I'm getting pretty excited for my new finds....ex: the  most amazing white eyelet dress from Le Chateau! Can't wait to break that little baby out. Also, a fabulous RED cotton pencil skirt was found at Jacob. It's glorious!



Don't you just love when you find an article of clothing that you can't live without?! haha

EBEW: Floral Edition

Everyone knows what today is! It's the monthly challenge for Everybody Everywear :) Yay! And this month's challenge is FLORALS, one of my favorites. I had a hard time choosing one floral piece to showcase, but I knew I also had to make my outfit work appropriate so I didn't think a short floral (but GORGEOUS) dress was gonna cut it. Here I'm wearing a favorite blouse from H&M. Darling design. I was drawn to it mainly because of its vintage detailing, so beautiful. To make it a bit funky, I added my UO fedora. Love this outfit! What are your thoughts?

NSWOR: Recreating J. Crew Looks

Ever wonder when you're shopping online if the clothes will look the same on you as they do on the model? I'm sure you do, I'm sure everyone does. I've collected a lot of J. Crew items and I just thought I'd do a little post with outfits inspired by the J. Crew catalogues - and I chose to highlight on the sequin skirt just because it is a difficult item to wear. I threw in some others for some fun! Well....only the ones that worked.... hahah :) Enjoy!



Look no. 1




Okay I love this look, but these sequin skirts are hard to wear!
They look lovely, but are prone to wear and tear very easily, also
my sequin skirt isn't the J. Crew on pictured above....its actually a
sequin scarf my mum fashioned into a skirt, just cause she's got mad
sewing skillz. Actually, I like her skirt better than the J. Crew one.....Opps

So I kinda improvised for this one but I really like this outfit.
I'm wearing the real J. Crew sequin mesh bell skirt in oyster here,
it's pretty cute, very short, but has pockets unlike my scarf skirt.
Maybe next time I'll try it with a long sleeve white blouse :)

Love, love, love this outfit! I don't have the Delaney skirt
so I just subbed with my sequin skirt....and if you're worried
about the sequin skirt catching on chairs etc. wrapping a sweater
helps a lot. It actually looks pretty cute too!

This is definitely my favorite outfit of the bunch, chic but
casual. And I had not thought of pairing my oxfords with
thigh highs before - I really like them together!

LOVE the voile skirt....so fabulous....fits, looks, feels fab!
This outfit is so adorable, I really love it and had it specficially
in mind when I bought the skirt. But it's very versatile! Looks
amazing with a boyfriend blazer or tank. LOVE!
