    Series: Book 1, Private

Snippet: "I felt trapped and cornered."

Summary: Tradition, Honor, Excellence...and secrets so dark they're almost invisible.

Fifteen-year-old Reed Brennan wins a scholarship to Easton Academy -- the golden ticket away from her pill-popping mother and run-of-the-mill suburban life. But when she arrives on the beautiful, tradition-steeped campus of Easton, everyone is just a bit more sophisticated, a bit more gorgeous, and a lot wealthier than she ever thought possible. Reed realizes that even though she has been accepted to Easton, Easton has not accepted her. She feels like she's on the outside, looking in.
Until she meets the Billings Girls.

Review: I thought that Private was an interesting book.  I'm not sure how to describe it really.  There were one or two things that annoyed me a little about the book but then there were some parts I really enjoyed.

I think my favourite character was Taylor.  None of the others really stood out at all to me.

I liked the storyline as a whole and I loved the ending line.

I really did not like Thomas.  But I did like the ending as it was kind of a cliffhanger a little bit and it makes me want to pick up the next book because I really would like to know where the rest of the series leads.

Overall, Private is an interesting novel.  I didn't overly love it and I didn't really hate it either.  It was entertaining enough not to bore me.
