Joe - I just tested out kWordpad (http://www.kirupa.com/forum/showthread.php?t=265975), and it actually works the way you want it to. You can hit the Bold button and begin typing, and all of the text appears in Bold. Is that not what you are seeing?

I am in the same situation too, my lawyer misplaced my wife photographs, but still went ahead and send the documents to USCIS.

if your application is ready to get a visa you will get it , we cant force USCIS to do some things neither its a defined process that application SHOULD be preadjudicated its like a best practice
I have recieved date july 17th 2007, Notice date sep 13th,recieved by R Williams.I have not got RFE till now, no 2nd finger printing notice. Should I go to USCIS and ask them to take a 2nd finger print.No clue that FBI Name check is cleared.WHAT TO DO?

In USA, the company, who sponsored H/L visa and brought someone from home country is responsible for ticket to home country.
I wish this does not happen, but in all others case (H1B transfered, OPT -> H1B, EAD, etc.), one has to bear own expenses. Many H1B, students and EB guys have been compelled to go back to home country during last downturn - mostly they has gone back on own expense.
If one takes help of home country embassy (costs home country), that person may be barred from leaving home country in future.
I think Spain case is not applicable here in US.

I went to the infopass to inquire about the "additional review" letter I got from TSC. Officer did some search and told me the following " this case is in transit to an officer TODAY, just 30 minutes before. you dont have to worry about this notice". He also said that call us back in 45 days .. I did fax all the details to the Senator but am not sure whether this resulted from the inquiry.

Not really. Spouse's 485 needs to be independently denied before the spouse gets into trouble. However, if the spouse is on EAD, then they get out of status immediately upon the denial of their application. Also, illegality of primary depends on whether H1/L1 status is maintained.
(Note that if the primary is still on H1, spouse can leave the country, and come back on H4 ).
he and his wife both are working on EAD so they do not have non-immigrant status. If his application is denied, eventually spouse will also get denied. You are legal until it gets denied. Even after denial, you can appeal.... but it all depends on reason for denial. Thats what i mean :)

I filed my 485/EAD/AP last year and recently changed my address. Besides filing an AR11, what are the other steps I need to do? Should I be calling USCIS to make sure the new address gets reflected on my 485 application?

Yes to Q1. Yes to Q2, but you will have to discontinue the CP option. I would suggest going the CP way in your case. AOS is unpredictable with CP you will have a definite date. Best option get H1 in India return and apply for AOS, if not apply for CP and return with H1 go back in 6 months get GC if all else fails wait in India for 6 months and come back with GC.

Hello I am on H1B visa, I am going to India, not to return to US, at least for 3 or 4 years. I wanted to know If my checking, savings account's in US Banks will be valid or not? If so until what period? When do my SSN will expire? I dont plant to open any new accounts, but I just want to keep my Bank accounts open, thats why. Please let me know.
