just opened 2 films on iplayer, itunes movie, and all the other applications i can find and its sitting about 48 deg C.

It's impossible to be 100% certain is a crap response, because in many cases it is 100% certain, and i've named a few already.
That is false. Even lawyers agree that 100% certainty is impossible. That is why we have the term "reasonable doubt". The 5 men wrongly sentenced to death in Ohio went through what was supposed to be an exceptionally thorough legal process, yet it still failed them.
Also, the whole financial issue is very debatable and i don't think anyone here has solid figures on it.

The only reason it may cost more to execute someone is because of all the appeals and court costs, this can easily be fixed so execution is the most economical way.
Stalin, Gaddafi and Kim Jong Il would agree. You're in good company there.

I'm not that concerned about what features the new phone has. My iPod is by far the easiest to use gadget I own. My phone on the other hand is a horrible design. Loads of features, so on paper it looks good, but in practice is a mess to use. If Apple design a phone that links up via iTunes, works seamlessly and reliably with a well thought out UI and OS, I'll buy it. I do think that they'll stick with iTunes as the sole software for the phone as it already supports contact and calendar synchronisation.
I will be truly shocked if there is something that this phone can do that no other phone can do. I would also be surprised if Apple didn't make a phone that made it easier to do at least one element of current phone usage. Hopefully the basics of phoning, contact organisation and searching, and texting will be better than any of the useless phones I've been lumbered with. It's also important to remember that the design should easily top anything else out there, as design-wise I don't think the competition's that hot.

Here is a simple question. What type of business are you?
If you're an accountant firm, using SAGE - then Windows is the best solution for your business. If you're a graphic design firm, Mac would be the best choice for your business - but windows would also work in the design sector.
The question of "what is better than what" is irrelevant, its more about "what do you need out of your IT?"
You also have to consider your training needs, if you suddenly shift everyone from PC to Mac or Visa Versa.
You also have to consider who provides your IT Support? Do you have internal IT staff? Do you outsource?
You may one to get in a Neutral PC and Mac consultant (who is not going to try sell you things you dont need) to come in do a proper survey.

I use TunesArt (http://www.jibapps.com/products/tunesart/). It's an iTunes plugin that lets you know what song is currently playing and can fetch up lyrics automatically. It can do a lot more too.

I just got a 2.8 i7 Quad Core iMac, and I wouldn't mind helping out if someone would outline the steps for me. I already installed seti@home, but the application is only using one core, which really bugs me. I wont be able to dedicate my machine 24/7, but on the down time, or when I leave the room I wouldn't mind leaving it on.

basically, there are 2 types of folding clients: a console (terminal) and one that runs in system preferences. most people here run the console client, mainly b/c you have more control.
are you familiar with running things in terminal? if so, all you do is download the client, extract it, move into that folder, and start the script with some options. here would be an example for you:
fah -smp 8 -advmethods -verbosity 9 -local
and you can stop that when you want by typing control+c.
please let us know if you have any other questions

I have recently run into this weird system font. I have attached a screenshot to show what I mean by the weird error font. I don't remember me doing anything related to the font or the system system but just happened the next day. I have tried to seek for solution online but not successful, perhaps cause i can't explain it in detail.
Please can anyone help and let me know if there is any way that I can reverse it back to default original. Thank you very much.
