Review: Yet another truly amazing volume in the Death Note series.  I read this one in no time  because it's one manga that you just have to keep turning the page to find out what's going on. So many parts of this book had me sitting on the edge of my seat wondering what is going to happen next.





As far as characters go I think Ryuk is pretty cool, Light is a cool character too.  L has me on the edge of my seat, wondering what he was going to do next.  I have to say that Misa is annoying, I don't really like her but as the story progresses it will be interesting to see what happens next.





The illustrations, were, as usual, amazingly awesome.  And thats really all I have to say about this volume of the Death Note series.  It's definitely worth a read.

Review: Wow, I swear that every volume of Death Note I read gets better and better and better.  The first one was cool, the second one was really cool and then the third one was awesome.





There was quite a lot of things happening in this book that it made it really intense and really interesting.





None of my feelings for any of the characters have changed, Ryuk is still the coolest character ever.





The ending was awesome and it left me wanting more.  I really cannot wait to read the fourth book because this series is so awesome.

Review: Death Note is amazing!!! I am addicted to this series, it's pretty close to being my favourite manga but I think at this stage I'll read more to see how it goes in the end.





The characters are all really cool, my favourite so far is Ryuk, he is just the coolest character ever! I love the way he is drawn and it just makes him look so cool.





Death Note Volume 2 is really really suspensful, there is so much going on that you'll be on the edge of your seat reading through it because you just have to know what happens.  That really sums up how I felt about it.





Really thats about all I can say about Death Note, you just have to read it for yourself to see how amazing it is.

Review: If you're after something suspensful and very unique, then Death note is a good book for you.  Just one word of warning about it though and that is that it is a manga.  So if you don't really read manga then you may not find Death note to be the best book for you.





I loved Death note so much.  I loved it so much that I sat down and read it in one go.  It was so amazing and really suspensful and everything I love in stories like that.  There's so much suspense and I just had to keep reading it to find out more about what was going on.





So many of the characters are lovable too.  I think so far my favourite would have to be Ryuk he just seems so cool.  He's very different.  Light is very cunning and interesting, I like him as a main character because he's not entirely good so to speak.  I think L is interesting too, mostly because he's very mysterious and I am interested in knowing more about him.





The illustrations in Death note are really cool I didn't find them too hard to make out what was happening.  Most of the characters were drawn really well.  I love the look of Ryuk.





I think thats about all I have to say about Death note.  It is totally amazing and if you love suspensful thrillers with a supernatural element then Death Note is a great manga for you.

The Dreaming Volume Three by Queenie Chan

Review: Volume Three is the final book in the trilogy. I loved the entire series and while I'm relieved the scariness is over but I'm also sad that it has ended.
With Volume 3 I am not disappointed. It is really good and I thought it was highly scary too. Fortunately when I went to sleep after reading the entire series I didn't have any nightmares.
I loved the illustrations they were all really good. They were so well drawn that they added to the horror of the story so much.
I found the ending to be quite an interesting one. While they didn't explain one thing it was really obvious what had happened. I also felt sad by the ending because it wasn't a happy one and I felt sorry for the twin girls.
Looking back at the trilogy as a whole I felt that we didn't get to know much about Amber and what was known about her left holes and questions for me.
The rest of the book however, was really good.
Definitely check this entire series out.

The Dreaming Volume Two by Queenie Chan

Review: Of the trilogy I have to say that this one was my least favourite but in saying that it was still completely awesome and oh so spooky.
The illustrations in this one creeped me out and amazed me and I was reading this one at night all alone. So it definitely added to the scary factor.
The story line continued from the ending of the first one and it was really good. It definitely grabbed my attention and I definitely can say that it was fantastic.
If you like mystery and if you like horror and you like manga this book will be utterly perfect. I do of course recommend that you read the series in order though.

Review: When I picked this up off the shelf and read the back I though, oh a thriller/mystery. My type of book then. So when I was reading it I did get a little spooked. Later on I read the back and it actually is classed as a horror. Fans of horror this book would suit you fine.
I have a warning about this book too. If you're anything like me and you have an overactive imagination or get scared easily do not read The Dreaming at night all by yourself. I did and I think this made the book even scarier than it had been.
The ending was a cliffhanger that left me wanting more. Luckily I had the next book too so I could just rush into it.
Because this was a manga there were so many scary illustrations. It added to the horror of the story. While I found the illustrations scary I also thought they were really well-drawn.
So if you like horror stories then you will definitely love The Dreaming.

Review: I've been enjoying this series so far and could not wait to get my hands on this, the third manga in the series. I was not disappointed either.
I was kind of disappointed with the second volume. I'm not saying I hated it, I just found it annoyed me a little. Anyway, the third volume was quite good. I was not disappointed at all.
I loved the illustrations they were all really pretty and definitely well-done. I also love the cover art. It looks so good.
The ending surprised me a little bit, it took a little twist in an interesting direction. I thought it was interesting but I didn't think it was the best ending ever.
Unfortunately, this was the last book in the manga series. In case you didn't know though, this has the same characters as the novel series Vampire Kisses by Ellen Schreiber so definitely check out both.
