Actress and activist Fran Drescher appeared at the annual Women’s Philanthropy United Luncheon on Thursday at Wynn Las Vegas. Wearing more than $500,000 worth of jewels by Van Cleef & Arpels, Drescher spoke about her battle to beat cancer, her Jewish upbringing and how it parlayed into her most famous role on the hit series “The Nanny.” The event was attended by more than three hundred Las Vegas women in support of the Jewish Federation of Las Vegas. Attendees who also witnessed a fashion show that opened with Las Vegas Mayor Oscar Goodman sporting swim trunks and a T-shirt that read “Alpha Male” courtesy of the Wynn Esplanade shops.
