Shoe Splurge Saturday

You know what I really love in a good shoe? A big ol' chunky heel. Great for walking. Looks super fun. And doesn't get stuck in cracks between boards or stone. Fabulous. So here's some of my current favs. P.S. my friend Jane over at Jane's Addiction has the Le Chateau ones in black.....totally jealous!

Butterfly Bling

Something about Spring and Summer just make me think of the cutesy insects that come out to play and the adorable fashion patterns that come from them. Of course, most insects ARE NOT CUTE (and are actually beasts in disguise!) but butterflies are by far my favorites. Not only are they beautiful (and don't bite you!) but I love accessories and patterns that have butterflies on them. Here's a collection of some butterfly bling that I'm loving right now. Enjoy!

Dancer Inspiration Post

Sparkly Source

As some of you might know last week my university's dance club had our annual recitals and I was really excited to be apart of it. I danced for fourteen years when I was younger but had to stop during my undergraduate degree because I had way too much to do and the class times weren't working with my course schedule. Fortunately, my graduate university has a dance schedule that works with course hours and I could begin again! I only took two classes (ballet and videodance) and they were so much fun. The many rehersals and 4 show recitals last week were a lot of fun, but also very exhausting. And so, I thought I'd do a dancer inspired post! Here's some dancey inspired pics, followed by some cutesy ballet inspired items :) Enjoy!
